Can you please guide on this @myra20sharma - I can just walk in VFS Mumbai and submit my passport?

I Checked in the link and it can be submitted at VFS office chandigarh with consent form and PPR form and passport. Thanks Everyone.

Yes, just walk-in to your nearest VFS office with the original passport and the letter you got on your online account - "Original Passport request".

And there you'd have two options;
1. To pick up from processed passport when they ask you to
2. Take courier service, so your processed passport is delivered at your home, this have some fee around INR 600 (ish).

I am lazy, I always took courier for myself when I was in India and now I did for my mom so I took it so she does not have to go.
Courier delivers in same day, even when if came from Chandigarh to Delhi for her. It's totally your call.

Mom's time after PPR;

PPR - April 24th
Passport submitted - April 25th
Online account went approved with visa details - April 26th
Stamped passport recvd - April 27th (Courier)

Just received the passport request. Here is my timeline.

Applied online: April 12, 2019
Biometrics: April 15, 2019
Acknowledgement letter: May 06
Correspondence Letter: May 07
Passport Request: 20 minutes after Correspondence.

Can anyone please suggest where to submit the passport and which documents to submit along. Can my wife submit in Chandigarh?

Wow! That’s brings some relief. I got acknowledgement letter for my wife on May 06th too. Guess, I can expect correspondence letter anytime soon. Fingers crossed.

I have refreshed my account like 20 times since I read that Charan got his correspondence letter a day after acknowledgement letter. Lol. Too impatient to wait.
