Biometrics Submitted : April 26, 2019
Biometrics Collection Letter : April 18, 2019
Submission Confirmation : April 15, 2019
Confirmation of Online Application Transmission : April 16, 2019.

The VFS guys are calling it as an expedited appointment. You need to visit your nearest VFS to book it and to pay the fees. They will process your application or biometrics the same day. At extra cost.

That's so bad. I took an appointment for my in laws in April. Got it for the next day itself. The rush right now is mainly because of the student convocation in April. Try the expedited process if it's urgent. Pay INR 2750 to get the biometrics the same day

Upon checking my CIC account now it shows (final decision) approved but no email yet from VFS for PPR.

I know the feeling. They should have organize timelines of approving and rejecting application. Making people wait so clueless is just crazy.

Dont panic, happened with my family application too.

Mother received the BIL, but father didnt. It came in a day later.

You should be fine if you have paid the fees in advance

My mother received the letter next day as u mentioned.. they completed biometrics today ..

Congratulations!
You'd have new message in your online account saying "Original Passport Request". That is what PPR is.
You would not get anything from VFS.

Its kinda weird tho, it shows approved in the final decision but I dont have any PPR message in the account.
