Hi everyone. I just joined the forums, I'm an April applicant as well.

How will I know if they have started doing the background check? I'm done with biometrics, and already passed my medical last June 29. My BGC says : "We are processing you background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" -- It's always been like that, since the start. Also, the Review of Eligibility says : We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements. Those two are my pending status, any one who has the same experience here? Thank you!

Hi guys I am bit tensed after aor haven’t heard anything from cic anyone else on same boat don’t know what’s taking time any advice will be helpful

Started processing app on May 4th and haven’t heard anything
So disappointing

You are not alone, even if it may seem so with everybody getting SA, BR and MR so soon after AOR. We got AOR on the 23rd of May and haven't heard anything ever since. We also aren't able to link our application yet, and I am wondering if we need to wait for SA? Did you link yours?

I am in the same boat. Called IRCC and they stated that since I received request via email and linked to GCkey afterward it would most likely not show as it was not messaged through GCkey. My app has been transferred to Nairobi now and i have been informed that since it has left country I will not see new updates through GCkey but should through ECAS.

have a look at the tracker. If PA country is India, you will get transferred 5-10 days to Mississauga CPC after your medical request. That's all info you can see on the tracker according to the trends. If not then you will be going to NVDO and will take longer to get transferred.

Same here its been 2 weeks waiting for file to transfer! PA is from Australia
