Hey guys, I just saw that they updated the form IMM5533 document checklist in April.

Does anybody knows when did that happen?

I sent my application on 17th of April and on that day I think the last version was from March.

I just hope they don't return the application.

Also, after how long can I link my paper application to my online CIC profile?

I think if they received your application before they changed the file, you should be fine. If not, you can call IRCC explaining your situation.
You are able to link the application after receiving AoR.

In the checklist in Supporting Documents For Sponsored Persons, Point 7 - Proof of Relationship To Sponsor (e) on Page 9:
Select at lease two of the following four options and provide the documents requested for each. Check which options you are selecting:

1. Important Documents for your and your spouse showing that you are recognized as each other' spouse (such as employment or
insurance benefits)
2. Documentary Evidence of Financial support between you and your sponsor, and/or shared expenses.
3. Other proof that your relationship is recognized by your friends and/or family (e.g. Letters from friends/family, social media information showing a public relationship etc)
4. Proof of pass cohabitation, If you are not currently living together but did at one point in the past

Can anyone please explain option 1. My wife (Sponsor) employer wrote on her employment letter that I (Principal Applicant) will be added in her insurance benefits program on the next anniversary date as per the company policy. I do not have a insurance benefit program from my employer as I am working on a contract in Canada. Is this meeting the requirement for Option 1. ? or are there any other documents we can submit for this requirement? Please advise

We also taken proof from both our social media accounts so we are meeting option 3.

I also called CIC but they didnt provide any list of other documents we can submit.

Pls I have a question. Does it mean that both of you should submitted social media info to proof public relationship? Because I only submitted mine cuz my wife is not really a social media person

No. One side is fine. Social media is only one of the options that can be used to proof your relationship.

my file just returned yesterday, missing one signature in IMM5669, so i sent file today again .

1st received: Feb 22
Returned: April 11
2nd Sent: April 11

When was your application received? How long after did they returned it?

Mine was also received on the 15th of April and signed by Hoss.... maybe my application is sitting on top of yours

I made the same mistake! I sent my application on Apr 30 but the forms were printed a few days before, so I sent the form dated from March. I heard about 30 days tolerance, I hope it stills on! And I just checked both forms, and I could not find any difference between them.
