I have been scheduled for the oath ceremony on July 12, but still have not received the email invite.
Anyone on the same boat?

You should receive it sometime later this week (may be in a couple of days or so).

Congrats and all the very best!

Could you please provide when your application went to "Decision Made" status on ECAS and the date when "Prohibitions" was set to "Completed" on New Citizenship status Dashboard ? Thank you!

Also, please post an update once you receive the oath email.

HI All,

I was wondering if anyone can give me comfort regarding my status in citizenship? My wife and I, applied in April 2019, over 54 so no need to do the exam. we have not heard anything from the immigration office since July 2019. All our status is in the process except background which is complete! I have checked others (through the excel sheet available) who applied months after us in 2019 from the same office (ours are in London Ontario) and got their oath ceremony a couple of months ago and for us nothing!!!! Anyone in the same boat as us? any suggestions I can do?

Me and my wife also applied in April 2019. She is below 54 and her citizenship is recently coompleted. I am above 54 and my status is exactly the same as you both. No movement at all on my application since July 2019 when the AOR was received. Seems above 54 applications are not a priority. so hang in there calmly...

Thanks for replying to me! I do not know how they come up with this that over 54 is not a priority! In fact, I believe in this pandemic, now that our family cannot visit us and borders are strict at least by having our own travel documents we can travel and visit them. At the moment we feel like stuck in prison as our PR cards also expired :(
Please let me know if you have heard anything from them. I wish this will be over by the end of July :). By the way, I filled out a complaint form on their website in the feedback section today! I am not sure how far these complaints go but better than nothing! everything back to normal in all around the world except Canada Immigration Office :(
