Good afternoon, My application has been in process since Sep 03, 2019. Received April 26, 2019. IRCC website mentions that they are close to finalizing applications received between end of April 2019 and May 03 2019. I have not received any notification about a test invite yet. I am from Grande Prairie, Alberta. Anyone in a similar situation? Also is there a contact number I can use to reach IRCC? Thanks
You are not alone! Mine is in process since August 2019. Not received anything since then! The phone number you can call is : 1888-242-2100.

If you have heard anything please share it with us here.

True, one must need to create an account.

While all other stages have been completed, I'm wondering why is language assessment is still In Progess as well as my Physical Presence.

It's possible that they may require an interview for those :)

Thank you. It is just that I thought they have verified all these prior to sending out exam invites. I mean, shouldn't passing the exam suffice for language assessment? Our language assessments were transcripts from colleges we attended. As for physical presence, we made sure it was way beyond minimum. Hoping it wouldn't take 3 years for them to process it.

The test counts for knowledge, your communication skills (the language proof you submitted alongside your application) count for language. Physical presence will be evaluated during the interview.

After the test: result, interview and next steps
After the test, you’ll meet with a citizenship official for an interview. During the interview, the citizenship official will:

  • give you the results of your test, if you had one
  • check your language skills, if you’re between 18 and 54 years of age
  • verify your application and original documents
  • ask any questions we may have about your application
  • make sure you meet all the requirements for citizenship

After my test which was written on September 30 2019 I had a discussion with the officer and he verified all required documents and gave the result of my test which was pass.
And finally told in next 6-8 weeks you will get invitation for oath.
From then no update till today and the status is still in progress. Hence technically I have passed the knowledge/citizenship test and language skills but
as per the updates in the application status(online) all these are still in progress.
I don't know what these statuses means.

When was the last update according to your tracker, and what’s your office? Hopefully it’s just a matter of backlog in your local office.

As per the tracker Background verification is the only thing is completed.
Moreover I can see this Background verification completed status I can see 2 times
1 in August 2019 before my test it says Background verification completed
2 in Jan 2021 i see same update again as Background verification completed.
Not sure why they check twice the same when the same has been completed before my test.
My location of my test was Scarborough.

I hope you can email Scarborough office through the email address that sent you the test invite, or the web form. Seems like a very long time without movement.
