Do you mean your home country passport? yes, it is necessary - they will check it. if you also applied with an old passport, they will want to see that one too.

Don't expect to be invited for the test before July next year. GTA looks like it has the slowest processing times.
I am saying this based on looking at last year's spreadsheet. People who applied from GTA 11 months ago are now being invited for the test.
It's not a rule, you might be lucky.

OMG..thanks.. I wonder why they don't hire extra staffs to accommodate gta applicant .. The government know a lot ppl live in GTA area, and they did nothing about it. I just feel it's not fair for us to wait that long compare with applicant outside of GTA, they finished the test and waiting for citizenship ceremony..
