I'm Montreal applicant as well tired checking lol

Are people getting informed about their test date by checking ECAS or do they get emails/letters?

Checking every day is a hassle!

Hi,

Got the In process ECAS on Sep 11, Sorry for the late update.

Are there any instances like you received a test invite but a family member on the same application didn’t? Thanks

Hey Experts, Does anyone knows if PR card is Mandatory for citizenship test? I have lost mine actually
In my case they asked to see my passport, PR card and COPR, drivers licence and health insurance card. Maybe you should call them and inquire if the COPR is enough if you have lost your PR card. I think the COPR is more important than the PR card.

"Lost" your PR card? Lol. You can't be serious.

Buy a fire proof and water-proof safe. Put all your important documents (passports, PR cards, birth cert) inside, people. Not really something you want to be casually "lose".

My international travel passport expires soon. Do I need to renew it before taking my test and interview? Any one has this experience? Thanks.

You do not have to renew it. They just need to see the passport (mentioned in your application) for the stamps and identity verification.

Let's be less patronizing, and more helpful. This forum's purpose is to assist applicants, not to make them feel worse.
