Hey guys,

I read somewhere that I need to inform IRCC if I'm leaving Canada for more than 2 weeks in a row. Is this true? And if so, can you please refer me to the website stating that?

I am planning on going on a vacation in September for 4 weeks. My application is not "in process" yet, just got AOR on July 8. I hope they don't ask me for fingerprints while I'm out of the country.

Thank you.
It is stated on the CIC website under "Leaving Canada after you submit your application" :

Hi Folks,

Is there any format letter to request an urgent processing?
help me please.
And what documents do i need to append in the letter.
Thank you.

me!
My application was received on Apr 17th - I have not received AOR or able to track the status of my application. I also check my mail everyday and dont see anything being returned. Its the same for my 8 year old as well!!
If the application for your 8 yrs old was included in the same package and either of the application has an issue, both will be returned as one package.

Received Fingerprint request for my wife today..please update the spreadsheet.

I didn't see FP request for myself. is it normal to get FP request only for one of the adult applicant?

Hello All
I am new to this forum. My application was received on April 26th but I haven’t heard anything yet? The application hasn’t been returned so far either ? Is this normal??

My application was delivered on May 8/2019. So far nothing yet. I was told that as long as there is no return of the package, all we need to do is wait

Thank you for responding . I just feel it’s weird that they don’t check the applications in the order in which they are received. From my understanding they have started opening early June applications. I can understand that in later stages processing times vary from application to application depending on the background checks they need to do etc, but to just check for initial completeness of applications why do they take so long ( over 3 months here) and why don’t they do it chronologically ?! ..

Today i called IRCC office and asked about the office my application got assigned to. I was assigned to the Hamilton office and it has been 20 days since i received the AOR and my status has not changed to in process yet. I was told that Hamilton is one of the fast processing centers but it doesn't seem the case. I was also told that my application is still in Sydney!
