Sorry about that. I also made the same mistake with my initial application. I’m getting worried at this point that my application will probably be returned again. I think anyone who submitted in April and has still not heard back will likely get application returned

Did you mention that you have ECAS showing 'application received' ?
If so, I would be extremely surprised if IRCC sends your application back AFTER it is in their system as received.

Yeah it still shows application received on ecas. I agree - It would be strange to return application after it’s in my system. Not sure I’ll be surprised though lol

Unfortunately it happened to me where Ecas shows that they received it but get the app returned

Ok so only AOR confirms if the application is complete, not ECAS.
Makes sense as I have read before that ECAS can be quite unreliable...

I wish you both luck with receiving your AOR's.
Perhaps due to the delays, you will have speedy background checks!

Newbie here!

AOR received June 4, 2019

Location: Winnipeg
App received : April 4, 2019
Type of application: Single
Physical presence : 1400+
Processing: July 4, 2019

On ECAS, they told me theyve sent a letter asking for more information. Its been 2 weeks (July 14, 2019) but I havent received anything on mail or email. Checked spam and trash, nothing. Anybody got the same update on their ECAS?

Yes, most likely to be returned. They highlighted the point where i did not tick a check box. I called cic support and they said use the same application to make correction and send it back. I used a pen to check the box. Also, on the first page i put up a small paper where i mentioned that i made the chage and did my signature.

My application was received on Apr 17th - I have not received AOR or able to track the status of my application. I also check my mail everyday and dont see anything being returned. Its the same for my 8 year old as well!!

Hey guys,

I read somewhere that I need to inform IRCC if I'm leaving Canada for more than 2 weeks in a row. Is this true? And if so, can you please refer me to the website stating that?

I am planning on going on a vacation in September for 4 weeks. My application is not "in process" yet, just got AOR on July 8. I hope they don't ask me for fingerprints while I'm out of the country.
