This is the email you get is below. Additional info is provided as an attachment (PDF) which mainly says

- We acknowledge the receipt of your application for Canadian Citizenship. We will review your application and supporting documents and will contact you if additional information is required.

Yes, you must. Anytime you leave Canada for more than 2 weeks while the application is in process, you have to inform IRCC.

Thank you! this helps! I just checked my emails and still no respite :(
Will post on this group when i see my AOR. On the other hand, i did submit a webform quoting that my husband's application can be tracked while neither my daughter's nor mine can be tracked despite being sent within the same envelope. I am hoping they can get to it and provide an update soon. I am also checking my physical mail to see if its been returned and dont see anything as yet...
Keeping my fingers crossed....

No you do not need to notify them. You would need to notify if you are permanently relocating somewhere as it would involve address change etc

It suggests you to inform them here.

But you can ignore it if you have access to email since that's gonna be the primary form of communication anyways. The things you need to show up for: test, ceremony, possibly interview aint going to happen when you just got your AOR. I wouldn't bother wasting your time and theirs.

There is no travel restriction for PR.

Dears,
I have a couple of questions?
Does everyone have to do fingerprinting for the citizenship or is it only for some persons?
And how long after the AOR email should we expect that?

The reason is that I plan to be travelling but will have access to my mail via a friend. However am worried if FP request comes while I am away.
