Hello everyone, we were extremely lucky, so we took the test this Tuesday, Dec 10 and immigration officer interviewed and asked if we were available for ceremony on Dec 11 so we became citizen less than one day after the exam, and we applied Cdn passport Dec 13, will pick up on Dec 31, it's such a new year gift for us! The whole process is about 7 months and we took exam and ceremony in Scarborough.

Does anyone know whats their criteria for next day oath and ceremony? Seems like a FOIA request or a local MP involvement kind of issue, why is not transparent ?!?!

Low lead time on oath ceremony is probably location dependent. Busy places like Vancouver, Toronto expect to wait 2 months.

Nope...still waiting...it has already been 13 weeks...I guess it will be in the new year.
It seems that Montreal is very slow for oath ceremonies - a friend of mine waited 6 months after the test...
