Based on data from the spreadsheet, Seems like for April 2019 the processing times to send out AORs have gone up by two weeks as, compared to previous applicants.So it is 2 and a half months from date of App delivery, to get AOR now

Hi summer5e. Yes, call and see what the agent says. You will be asked for the client ID. Also, please keep these data handy when you call:

• citizenship app payment receipt number (starting with a capital R)
• courier name
• tracking number
• date of sending
• date of receipt in Sydney

Interesting fact. Somebody from Calgary in the March-2019 group has received a test invitation! I hope things move just as fast everywhere else as in Calgary.

My application was received on April 4th but still no AOR. I even filled the IRCC request form and they said you will be contacted sooner.Looks like the ECAS is having some issues the helpline is giving a message there is a technical error to view the status.

I called IRCC this morning as regards my application. I provided all the information requested but was told that there is no indication my application has been received or either returned back to me.

The lady then told me the address they have on file is an old residence we left 4 yrs ago. Does any one know if they return applications to the address on the submitted application or to the address they have on file? I have tried changing my address through a link sent to me by IRCC but it says I do not have any application been processed currently so no record of my status.

Anyone gone through similar situation? I am worried they could have sent back our documents to the old address they have on file.

I also had the same discussion with the IRCC person, but the person told they send the application to the address mentioned in the application.

I know hang it tight as mine was received Apr 4th and they are processing Apr 16 . The IRCC person says wait for another week it might be in progress.

yeah, we just need to wait. with elections coming september... they said processing will faster, is it true?

Never received email but ECAS was updated with AOR:

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on April 8, 2019.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on June 21, 2019.
