****APRIL 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Out of curiosity, can someone tell me what are the steps after my visa office starts processing my background check... I'm with lvo
 
Hi guys I am reading thru this link now and its really very discouraging for me, I am due to land in Calgary in February as a permanent resident and due to some circumstances I wont be getting married before I land which leaves me with the option of sponsoring a spouse. I think the process is too overwhelming and slow, I am beginning to think I may be better off finding a spouse inland in Canada. What do you guys think on the feasibility of this. I need good advise from people who have experience and understands what the options are, my problem with spousal sponsorship is the uncertainty and the slowness. Thank you very much for your time responding to me.

well it depends in ur heart if you dont have long distance relationship at his moment then go ahead and find in someone in canada that macthes you...
 
Hello All,

I have one more question for you guys. My wife (principal applicant) was staying in UAE (current address on application) on resident visa with her family and her resident visa has expired. She did not renew it but has moved back to home country, India. Do we have to contact our visa office(London) about this or should we wait until the final decision?

Hi Chelsea, please can i ask if London visa office has started application received in April 2018 or they are still in March?
Please check for me and i think we are on same boat as well.

hi yes April 2018 apps r moving some r getting already pre arrival

We haven't heard anything yet. Our application might take a bit longer because we've changed his daughter from non-accompanying to accompanying. But fingers crossed, and for everyone of course!
