Quick update. AOR2 received on 27th June on Sponsor's email. File transfered to NVDO.
congrats!!
can you please clarify if they sent an email from NDVO acknowledging that they have received the app or Mississauga sent email that file is now transferred to NDVO?

Thanks Shimnui1,
I received acknowledgement from Mississauga VO confirming that they have forwarded my spouse's file to NVDO.
I don't think NVDO will acknowledge us that they have received the file (Not sure if they will). NVDO will send only PP request in the end of process I guess.

yup..I think you are right keeping in mind that they do not have enough resources to even process the spousal applications. so any idea what is your ecas status saying now or any update on the gckey? trying to estimate things.

There will not be any update on GCKEY at all. ECAS certainly change once your app forwarded to respective spouse's VO.
You will notice total 4 lines and line number 2 will say when they started to process spouse application. Example is below for my spouse app:

  1. We received (spouse name)'s application for permanent residence on April 4, 2018.
  2. We started processing (spouse name)'s application on June 26, 2018.
  3. We sent (spouse name) medical instructions on May 18, 2018. To avoid delays, please provide us with the information requested as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
  4. Medical results have been received.
Hope it helps.

Hello Friends ,

Can someone answer my question please ?
I submitted my husband's application on April 25th and was received on April 26 .
AOR1 on June 5th.
Linked applcation with GC account : June 6th
Medical request June 8th
Medical was done on June 14
SA : June 18
Medical exam passed on June 22nd.
Background check in process June 22nd.
After that is complete silence , I called CIC twice to know if the file has been transferred to PA`s VO or if its staying in Mississauga , CIC REp told me that your file is in Mississauga so far but if Visa officer will feel like to send In PA`s VO then they will transfer it.
My question is like most of people here in this thread had shared that they`ve received letters from CIC about their file VO , so can i assume that my file will stay in Mississuaga or should i wait for their email about it. Please advice , i will be so grateful.

As far as i know, CIC will email the sponsor as soon as they have transferred your file to your respective VO.

We applied April 3 and just got VO on Thursday. Anyone know how long this part of the process will be??

I don’t know if you are asking me or somone else. But it’s for me than, No I’m Canadian. I have sponsor my husband but since medical done on June 13 no new update in my case..
Oh okay well I would guess the next you'll hear is that they'll be transferred your application to your spouse's VO. That's what we received on thursday. It took about 3 or 4 weeks after medical was received. And from I was reading on cic website it takes about 3 months to process (hopefully it will be quicker). No other update on ECAS which I also read is normal. Hope this helps :)

Applying from the Philippines and we have the same update. Ecas status saya application is being processed June 13, 2018. Think it will still take time though.
