Two things today - got the medical passed (he had it done on Friday), and got a letter saying our application will be processed in Mississauga. Also for the background check - is it a letter that is received? in GCKey in the "details about your application status" section it says "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information" but it has said this for quite a while, I didn't notice when it started. Is this what is meant by the background check stage, or will we receive a notification?

Oh my gosh, I'm freaking out! Logged into ECAS this morning and it says Decision Made for PA!!!! I can't believe it. I don't know how long things will take from here but it seems quite quick in the spreadsheets. This is much faster than I expected!!

I'm so happy because my husband happens to have just arrived to visit for the summer, so if we get the CoPR and everything we can do a little weekend trip to the States for him to land and then he can get started on his SIN, health card, etc... I'm seriously floating right now, I can't believe it.

I got my decision made on ecas yesterday then this morning I got my passport request. So if you’re at Mississauga then you can expect it next week !

It's best to not have any expectations when it comes to this process, but it's certainly good to be hopeful.

Quick update. AOR2 received on 27th June on Sponsor's email. File transfered to NVDO.
