THAnks. But in relationship interview they ask to interview both.
Here they say sponsor ‘MAYBE’ interviewed!

And what it means interview for control purposes? Isn’t it sounding like quality assurance interview?

Last year, despite being inland, we took our chances and went abroad to see spouse’s parents & family.

Should I volunteer this information? Because it might help to prove genuineness of our relationship? We also have photos to prove our meeting

It says 'may be' and not 'maybe'. Check again the letter. May be = theres a 50/50 chance they will have to interview him/her. And this is 100% not a landing interview, it is a relationship interview based on the documents you have to provide.

THANks a lot.

I understand it’s not a landing interview 100%.

But I was reading on this forum, sometimes they call for a random interview for quality assurances.

So I hope this isn’t the case?

It looks like a relationship interview to me. But if your relationship is genuine I wouldn't worry at all. Just bring all the required documents and that's it. You should be happy you get some kind of response from them. I didn't get any communication from them for over 4 months after the AIP and SA which was horrible. Good luck !

One more important thing to mention (!)
please make sure you and your sposnor has a proof of address at the landing interview! it was a huge surprise for us, as letter mentioned that only sponsor needs to bring a piece ID with address.
Luckily my wife had her bank statement.
