Well, I had no reason to be anxious. I got my medical request today.
I am an April 13th application.

Btw, are people required to give their fingerprints now? I was reading it’s mandatory for ppl from some regions. I am from South America, they say it doesn’t apply for me yet. Just wondering

Every one now applying for PR is required to give Biometrics. I'm from US just was not required to do the Biometrics For the Work Permit but still waiting to hear about the PR

RCMP fingerprints check and biometrics are different.

I believe now it's mandatory to submit police certificate with your application

It depends which country you are from. Some countries like Hong Kong require a letter from Canada Immigration to be issued one, so this will be done after you have applied.

I did my medical test yesterday in Toronto and was fast and simple, after the medicals what is the next step ? I have a general idea that after immigration do a BGC but when will be the next communication....

Did your doctor give you any document or receipt that says you have passed the medical how much he/she charged you?

They send all the info via e-med basically is a online system that the clinic send the info to immigration .... and in Toronto was $280

$280 is expensive lol. I paid $235 in London

MyCIC now shows:
Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.

Timeline is:
Medical Req Received: September 24 2018 | Medical Done: Sept 25 2018 | Medical Passed: Oct 3 2018
