I got DM Jan 17th and am still waiting on landing interview from Vancouver. Started to get worried so I called yesterday and they said 1-3 months for Vancouver landing.

Hello need help, I am May 9th applicant, still waiting nothing after medicals passed on Oct 15th. Called CIC they said background check is done and they are conducting criminal check, any ideas how long can it take from now till DM, AIP, and what do they mean by background check is done? what all is part of background check? and how long does it take for criminal check? Most of the May applicants have already got their Landing interview...
Give yourself a break, my guessing next week you will get the landing interview letter, because I see mostly people got the landing interview letter in 5-6 weeks after DM.
Anyway, a day before I had a phone call with IRCC agent I saw ’Application/Profile updated’ on myCIC but there was no change...
Is Ghost update happens on Spousal Sponsorship application...?

Ghost update happened with me too. I called IRCC, agent said security check passed
Hey guys! I got DM on both sides on February 19. I plan on traveling to California from Vancouver in June to pick up my daughter from the airport. Anyone have issues leaving Canada BEFORE PR is finalized? I’d be leaving with DM on both side and SA/AIP so does anyone know if it will be an issue getting back in Canada. I’m a US citizen and have a valid OWP as well. I want to buy plane tickets so I’m asking JUST IN CASE my PR isn’t finalized before I leave.
There is always a small risk you may be denied entry by CBSA but as a citizen of a visa exempt country and holder of an OWP and already approved for PR the chance of being denied is very low.
I’ve done it many times (I travel Vancouver-Seattle often for work) and never had a problem.
Yeah I was skeptical about it before but now that I have DM on both side and AIP I’m not as worried. But you can never be certain with the border patrol. Sometimes they’re really complicated.
Had no issues even when we left before AiP/SA. Officer at airport asked what permit we have (OWP) but didn't ask to see anything
Have you called CIC, if your background check is done, you will get the AIP soon, if not, hardly to tell....
My bg check is still processing and the eligibility is being reviewed. Not sure what's going on.
