I agree it doesn't sound like they're very consistent and timelines vary by a few weeks. Also , they're not the best at updating ECAS/myCIC in a straightforward manner :p

It seems like some people get a letter stating they'll be contacted by the local CIC office while others are directly getting an interview letter with date and time. Wonder why there are discrepancies in the process
