Weird they say they r processing Jan but a snall group of april applicants are getting through.
Omg checked twice today and no updates. Something told me to check just now and bg check has finally changed to processing.
My bg change from Dec 18 until now. On Dec 18, many ppl here had their status change and bg change. Not sure what's going on.
It's ok. But your ECAS said We started processing your application on Dec 19 but in myCIC, your bg was NA until today?
Yes. Ecas had the dec 19 at the same time everyone else started posting about it too. Can't remember what date it changed to that but was sometime after the 19th. Bg check on gc still said not applicable even today. I checked twice. Some time in the night it changed to processing. Im trying to figure out how long between that and aip. I know bg check is different for everyone and the timing differs greatly but for the most part im seeing most people in the past had it showing for months before aip. Seems april applicants its not going the same way but still not much info . We are in a race against the clock for dm cuz of a prra app going in soon so dying for some kind of idea lol
What do you mean prra app? I dont know about that. One person here got AIP about 5 days after bg changed like you so I think you'll get it soon.
Hubby was out of status. CBSA came to our home. He’s under removal order. Before they remove u they have to give a chance to apply for pre removal risk assessment. Buys time to get answer on sponsorship app. We have 15 days to submit the prra app. Have to get DM on sponsorship before a decision is made on PRRA ( which will get denied) or they will enforce removal order and send him home.
Do you mind if I ask how long your husband has been out of status? My status expired last April and I didn't realize it until August so I wasn't able to reinstate it so we were told my ircc I could either leave the country and try to come back, risking denial and my application being abandoned, or I could stay and not have a work permit and just wait for my landing interview.
