You received PPR direct? I mean there was no update on Background check or DM before that?

For those who got DM and PPR; Please update us when you receive your PP and if possible, your landing date. For those of us waiting, it helps to see what the timeline is like for each step!

I'm applicant April'17.
Local Visa Office Singapore.
I hv completed medical exam on Nov'17 & result updated same month but after that nothing got update in GcKey or ECAS.So, I have quarried to Singapore Immigration office & they replied: "This application is currently pending review by an officer, after which we will contact the applicant to advise the outcome of the review and/or any subsequent steps in the processing of the application".

Could anyone please share if face same issue.

Hello all!

Can someone who has already landed please confirm all the documents we should be taking along which will be verified by immigration officer post landing.

Thanks !

They only asked for my COPR and passport and that was it. The immigration officer was very friendly. He asked me to verify my address in Canada and asked if I had brought along any dependents with me. He asked me to wait for 5 mins, called me back and I was done!

Same for us also. They only wanted to see the letter from CIC which came with COPR. Asked about the address in Canada and we are done!

All your verification is already done by CIC during your PR application. They should not ask much. But it is better to keep your original docs with you. In case they ever ask about any of those!

Sometimes the background check takes longer than usual.
I contacted them after medical just like you and they gave me the same answer. And after couple of days I got DM.
Do not worry. You will get DM soon also!
