Actually, a friend of mine through my VO in Bogota, Colombia, who got AOR2 on August 22nd, got everything done, including the COPR, within two months. Although it does look like it's unusual overall, it doesn't seem very unusual for this VO. I guess it depends on the case, more specifically if it's an easy one and if they work on it quickly.
oh wow that was pretty fast.. thanks for shedding some good vibes, but for London VO i dont think anyone got ppr that fast :( unfortunately for us we didnt have an option to choose which VO to potentially process our papers.

It’s been 7 weeks for me, bgc on gckey sept 13. Should I be worried about this Oulrish?

Hi, no I don't think you should be worried, VO dependent and application dependent it might vary although I understand it can be painful hearing nothing. Did you order your notes? You should probably try contacting them?

That is indeed pretty fast. So from the time he/she applied to the time they got PPR it was 2 months?

I have a question tho, on my aor1 it says my bgc is N/A then after aor2 it changed to in progress what does that mean then?

They had not updated your account yet at AOR1 stage, and did so at AOR2. And even then your background check has not started.

You mentioned yours states "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."

When it starts it will read "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."

so if they said we do not need additional docs what does it mean? they just look at the paperwork and not start anything?

They just do not need anything else from the applicant, and I guess they work on the application, but it's not as simple as we think and wish it could be unfortunately. I would suggest ordering your notes to find out more. Patience is key through this application ordeal.

when should i order notes? i heard they are hard to come by... btw i did order notes couple weeks after aor2 but i still didnt receive anything yet.. I know patience is key i guess i just have higher expectations with LVO as i thought they'd be a more efficient VO. Seems the opposite
