Hi folks!
Has anyone gotten AOR despite having submitted passport photos that are slightly older than 6 months? We had our application returned the first time (missing the use of Representative form) and then resubmitted.. are due for AOR any day now and I just got that awful sinking feeling that due to this delay in submission, our photos are older than 6 months (seriously bummed). Has anyone had their application processed despite having a similar issue? I am assuming the worst, unfortunately.

does anyone know after PPR whether you have to also give bio-metrics or not when you submit your passport?

I am a full time student of physics in my 3rd year of my undergraduate degree. If that isn't keeping me busy enough to not think about this I don't think anything can :(

Oops! you do have a lot on your plate already! Am sure, good news is around the corner for you! All the best! :)

Not in our case. And I'm guessing if you haven't received any request from the VO then it isn't needed.

When you submitted the application if the photos were still within the timeframe, I believe you should be okay. If they need more current photos, I believe they will notify you rather than returning the whole application. I would still keep my hopes up...

Hey Oulrish, do you mean when we submitted the FIRST time? Because in April (our first attempt) they were current.. but then our next attempt was Sept 1st and they wouldn't have still been within the 6 months. Maybe someone will have mercy after noticing that we have already had it sent back once. But, this process teaches you to keep expectations low so you're not shattered! haha.

When you resent the package, the photos were not within the 6 months timeframe you mean?

:( yes.. that is what I mean. You know how it is, you check and re-check everything.. but then there's that one thing that you didn't consider. I don't know why we didn't look at them again. So basically I think they were a couple months beyond the 6 month timeframe. Yeaaaaa.

Yeah I understand, the application process is overwhelming. I hope they are okay with it and if not send you a request to go get new ones taken and resent. If you want to put your mind at ease you can try giving them a call just to find out.
