Finally, my BG went from "Not applicable" to "We are processing your BG". What are the next steps, Should I expect an email or notification in my account?. It seems that following this thread, I have seen where people got "DM" in a day and same where people received "DM" In a month not sure what would be avg time frame from this step.

Also, They added this section as point # 3 in the ECAS
  1. We sent you correspondence on May 30, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
It just appeared suddenly. Is this something normal?

We have the same notes. Apr10 applicant

Hi guys received gcms notes I have received 41 pages please help me read them I can see notes with pages but some of the notes are really confusing and says note 2 says "pa and spr marriage looks traditional guests looks involved (explained my relation with pa basically) waiver recommended was also written at the very start of this text . In the end this was written ' indian pcc is in incoming correspondance no adverse info.file forwarded to officer for further review and decesion ' " this was noted and updated on 25 July 2017 and on 25 September 2017 note 1 was updated with a new single line which was " file is in que for review by officer due date adjusted___" does that mean they did not get my wife's pcc which I sent them I think twice ?? These notes are really confusing any clue what to look for and on what page

Congrats.. Which Visa Office?

Any LVO April Applicants see BGC in progress? It's been 6 months and 5 days officially for us since file submission and no updates. even GCMS notes are taking so long! I am very happy for those of you seeing BGC go into progress but I just wanna sit here and ball my eyes out. We are outland and not living together and some days the distance can be very hard to cope with :(

timeline - visa office Nairobi Kenya.

Permanent residence

We received PA for permanent residence on April 18, 2017.
We started processing PA application on August 14, 2017.
Medical results have been received September 28/2017.
Received PPR letter October 11/2017.

Question: How long will it take for the visa to be issued and passport returned?

sincerely

Mkenya

Could be anywhere from 1-6 weeks depending how good the VO is at processing the passports.

Hi there,

I would read your notes as

"pa and spr marriage looks traditional guests looks involved (explained my relation with pa basically) waiver recommended was also written at the very start of this text . They are happy with the fact that your relationship seems genuine based on the proofs you've provided. I guess the waiver would be towards needing further proofs for further investigation.

In the end this was written ' indian pcc is in incoming correspondance no adverse info.file forwarded to officer for further review and decesion ' " this was noted and updated on 25 July 2017 and on 25 September 2017 note 1 was updated with a new single line which was " file is in que for review by officer due date adjusted___" It sounds like they have already received the PCC and at first glance there are no negative information that would raise red flags, it looks good. They have forwarded it to the officer taking care of your application to further take a look and confirm. It's in queue for review and the due date for his assessment has been slightly pushed to the right.

I hope this helps a bit.

I know, a few applicants from my husbands country and VO, who applied after us, have gotten their DMs already :(

I know it's hard Kinza and nothing I say might make it better, but please don't give up, not now, not so close. It sucks but soon enough you'll get there. Be positive, let's just put the delay on them sleeping, backlogs, officer being sick but nothing to do in a negative way within your application. Good luck to all of us!!!! :)

thank you, it's the only way to stay sane lol! We applied for GCMS notes on Aug 22. They request the consent form again on Sep 19. Sept 22nd we resent the consent form. Sent a follow up/status update email on Oct 4. And so far nothing. Heard there is another way to complain about the long processing time. I think I may just do that, because right now, I am not a happy customer!
