ECAS is the way to go. Everything is completed and you should receive the PPR next. The GCKey statuses will remain as is for the longest time. Congratulations!!! :)
Thank you Oulrish. We're still nervous because we don't know if the application is approved or rejected. Waiting for the final decision.

You're very welcome. I had the same worry until I received the notes that cleared all doubts. But stay positive and believe in the fact that you guys were approved and will soon be together.

Hopes were high for Sept 29. But bgc still not applicable. No change :( from NDVO.
When it was 18 months process, it was taking 8 months to most ppl. And now it's 12 months process, and its close to 6 months already...:(:(

I'm sure the check will start soon. We didn't see any movement for a while either just keep checking.

Not actually it changes right away when your passport is received and copr issued.

I know same for our VO. It was an average of 9 months when processing times were 18 months. we are now at 6 months (minus 4 days) and file has not even had an initial review (as of Sep 26). How is this any faster?!

Longest time from then to that time (until it does). Same difference.

Hello!
So, I wanted to know, how long does it take to start the background check and for a DM? I received my AOR2 on September 11 from NDVO. It still says 'checking for eligibility and will let you know when we start your background check' on GC key. Passed my medical test. Just need an approximate time frame. My file is already delayed.:(. Thank you!

Hi. I received an email 2months ago asking me to submit a file and I have submitted it as soon as I got the email. It's been two months now and I still do not get any update from the immigration. :( This is still the status that show sonline
  1. We sent you correspondence on June 29, 2017. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required.
It's already 6 months now since we submitted our application.

Has your file been transferred to the visa office?

Yes it says that our papers are already in the Philippines since June 29, 2017. And after passing the requested document we didn't receive any update. It's more than 3 months now. :(

Thanks for the tip. I will look up proof of intent.

Has anyone ever receive a request like this,"To provide proof of the sponsor has returned to Canada, and is currently residing in Canada"?
So, my application status for Additional Documents changed to "No additional documents required". Does anyone know what this means?
