Hey Guys,

I was away from Forum for couple weeks, how's the AOR2 process going? How long is it taking to receive? We mailed our SA, PCC on June 8th, still haven't heard about our file being transferred to VO. Are we way beyond the normal timeline or this is normal? Just worried and missing my husband. Want him to be here soon :(

I received mine after 3 weeks from the time the file was transferred. Some people did after 4, 5 weeks. It varies from application to application and also VO dependent. You could wait some more and/or contact the VO to inquire. Try not to worry, I know it's hard and the wait wait is long.

I swear, this wait is killing!!! Do you know if any January applicant received PPR yet?

What do you mean by contact VO? Is it same like contacting CIC or different department?

I believe some have and some are still waiting based on their spreadsheets.

March 2017 Outland Spreadsheet - https://goo.gl/bXvyA3

By VO I meant the Visa Office to which your application has been transferred. Do you know where yet? If it hasn't then I would suggest calling the CIC Call Centre to inquire about the application status and if they still require any additional information.

Hey Oulrish,

Please don't bother linking these sheets. None of the Jan or Feb applicants are updating. Actually, I just saw a chat where a member in Jan Forum said she got the decision made but in the sheet, she has not updated after AOR1. It is not just one person. Several people are not updating in those 2 months. They just get help and do nothing in return. We have such people and I see only March and April up to date. I felt such disappointment :( So I would not rely on these sheets to determine our timeline. Its the hard reality. I wish everyone takes a minute to do it but no. Anyways, lets keep April up to date and so the future month people get a good idea :)

Hi pnaran14,

I understand what you mean and I kinda had that feeling too. I keep checking them on and off just to have an idea to see what's new. I started getting the jist that a lot of them weren't updating the sheets. Anyway, I still have the links and provide the link to some who want to have a general idea, whether only two or three guys are on there who actually updated it. Yeah the March and April spreadsheets will be good reference data points.

I sent mine by XPresspost to the one I sent you. It's up to you to choose but I confirmed with a few in the forum and agents from the call centre before sending mine out as well. Good luck!

Okay. so that means you mailed your Schedule A and PCC to the same address as the application for outland? Did you mail before receiving an email from CIC to mail it or after? (because I am guessing you were not able to link your paper application online as well?) So, yours was received and your background check is in process?

Correct, to the same Outland address. I never received the email since there is a glitch on the CIC website. My spouse was able to link the account though. Anyway, since I sent the additional documents they were received, attached to the application and transferred to the Outland visa office. WE've received the AOR2 email and ECAS status is 'in-process' and updated. They are processing it but background check has not started yet.

Hey thanks so much, will do the same. My spouse is the PA and he has not received an email either so we are confused about where to send it. Also, it should be okay that I am mailing his documents on his behalf through my Canadian address? He mailed it to me a few weeks back before getting AOR so I still have them. Hope it works out :/

You're welcome. Yes, your situation mirrors mine and my spouse. Ensure you put a cover let to request them to attach the docs to your application. State both the sponsor's and pa's name together with the respective UCI numbers. Don't forget the application number as well. If you don't wanna waste time and don't mind affording it, tou can use the canada post priority mail. It will all work out. Hope for the best and good luck to you!
