Sent our schd A and PCC on june 8 via web form and via mail on june 10. On june 14 mycic status on additional documents says:
The additional documents you provided have been uploaded. Help
From then on, no more updates on our app. Tried calling and the agent said all we have to do now is to wait.
Hope updates will soon come for all of us.

I uploaded my docs through GCKey on May 22nd, no updates yet. I called a two weeks ago and they said to just wait. My ECAS still says "Application Received". Maybe I'll try calling them again today.

My wife's got sent to Ottawa even though we are in South Korea which is normally Philippines. I think it was maybe because she was previously in Canada on a study permit. Not sure if that would make a difference or not.

A lot of people's background check says this. Even mine says it, but i dont actually know of its in process

I received an email on June 12 from Mississauga stating that our application has been sent to the visa office for processing (Accra). My husband's Ecas says 'in process'. I had expected my husband to receive an email from the Accra VO saying that the application was received but he hasn't received anything. Is this normal? And I understand that normal seems to be a relative term with the whole process.

We got AOR2 on May 18 with file in process at London VO and never got an email, just ecas updates.

We sent our Schedule A in late May and they received it June 1 and our ECAS still didn't change to in process but yesterday our gckey changed to "we do not need additional documents."

So you're not alone. I am hoping in the next week or 2 we will get it..

I just noticed my status also changed to "we do not need additional documents". Before it said they needed some documents and to look at messages - which I never got. The mail to my spouse mentioned schedule A so I did send that to them a couple of weeks ago. I don't have my PCC yet so I did not send that to them, only schedule A. Hopefully it's being sent to a VO... I haven't been checking every line in the status in mycic every day so I don't know how long ago it changed, I just login to check for messages which maybe I'll never get

Well, I am talking about M.steele who got AOR2. Now, the background process changed either from Not Applicable or Not needed to in progress.

To Clarify your query, I initially had bc in progress. Then when the file was transferred, my bc went into not applicable. Hence when it turns to in progress. Dm is just around the corner. At least what I have observed about applications status change for considerable no of applicants. Not all cases will be applicable for everyone. But I see that M.steele's case is following the same path as that of the majority of the files.

I understand what you're saying, but from what I can remember, my background check has always said "in progress" even before I got AOR2. Going by what you're saying, my DM should be around the corner as well if its been that way for majority cases (hopefully its true)

Woohoo! Me too! I just checked and mine also says "we do not need additional documents" ... such a tiny thing makes me so happy lol
