You can pick only one category from the bottom list but if you can provide more proof I would suggest giving them as much as you can. It can only make things better and help your application. Can't really hurt.

I'm applying for outland spousal sponsorship and my wife and I don't live together as she must remain in the US until she receives PR, of course we visit when ever possible. My question is if we are not living together do we need to supply 3 of the six proofs of relationship, or just letters, texts etc. and proof of visits? also we have wedding photos etc.

any help would be appreciated, thank you.

So I just got the application sent back in the mail. Stating "a correction to mailing address on ImM0008 form for the PA. So he currently is in Canada visiting me. So we listed the mailing address as mine. But his residential in his home country. Would this be the problem? Should they both be my address in Canada? I'm so confused and it's impossible to get thru to the call center. Also would question 10 "country of residence" show Canada or his home country. Please help. I want to get this corrected and re sent ASAP. Thanks

Submitting as much proof as you can would be beneficial to your application. Send as much as you have that falls within the six proofs mentioned.

Just go as per the instructions. Since you are not living together, you should submit the 3 of the six proofs of relationship.

I would explain that the inquiry is based on the fact that it says on ECAS that correspondence email was sent (copy paste the status), and that you or your spouse have not received anything as of yet. That you checked both inbox and junk folders with no success. And so you were wondering what should your next step be.

If I were you I would mail physical copies and a cover letter (with UCI#s, application #s, names) requesting them to attach the documents to your application. And send it to:

CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

You can't have the same address without using the "Use of representative" form

Really? So if we fill out the use of a representative form we should list his address in Canada same as mine. Even though we are applying "Outland"
Yes - you should be able to do that by fling out the "Use of a representative form" even though it's an outland application.

Hello Guys,

I already submitted my application and got AOR1 few days ago. Now, i see many have used "Use of a Representative (IMM 5476)" or "Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual (IMM 5475)", which we haven't when we sent the original application.

I want to get information from CIC on behalf of PA as i live in Canada and its easier for me.
  • Which one should i use?
  • If i submit any of them via IRCC web form would they work?
  • Lastly, if i am able to submit them via IRCC, does any of them have any back reference to previous form that we have filled during original application (e.g. IMM008ENU, IMM1344, IMM5406, IMM5532 etc.)?
Thanks

Does he have an apartment/house in Canada? Is he paying rent in Canada? Does he have a job in Canada? I'd say if he's planning to return in November, he's still considered as "living in Canada".

Hi! Yes his employer is waiting for him to come back. He's still paying his taxes. He used to live with his parents before we got married and they're willing to accommodate us when we get there until we're finally able to find a house. As much as possible, he also wants to wait for me until my PR gets approved so we can go back together.
