Hey Guys ,

just a quick update as per my conversation with CIC this morning (after 30 mins of wait time). Yes they are a bit behind on their webform submissions and any online correspondences since they have quite a few applications. Besides I inquired if they have attached the schedule A i had submitted on May 26, 2017 which they said not yet.

One very important question though. We all know the principal applicant cant call CIC from outside of Canada so for the sponsor spouse living in canada) to get any info regarding the PA or the application, does he/she need to be a representative ? The lady from CIC asked me subimt this form IMM5476 - use of representative form if need to need more. I bet most of us are here and our spouses are outside of canada. How do you guys go by CIC ?

I assigned myself as the representative for my wife whom im sponsoring and included the use of a rep form when we submitted our application

Hi,
I have submitted the application on april 19,2017. As i have got info from the thread the AOR supposed send by CIC in a month or so . i have not get any news from them. I am little worried . I know this is wating game . Is there any one submitted in that time have recieved the AOR? Do i hve called them if do so what is the number ? Application center misissuaga .Any information will be helpfull. thanks

if he is away from Canada while submitting application, you will have to provide enough proof that you both will come back to Canada after getting PR. this is mentioned in one of the application forms.

I see.. We're also wondering what 'exclusively living outside of ca' on the questionnaire means.hehe

Instead of use of rep form we used Authority to Release Personal Information to a Designated Individual (IMM5475) which allows IRCC to release principal applicant file information to me (sponsor) when I call.

ok that sounds even better. besides my spouse is from outside of Canada but we submitted the file to CPC Mississauge (outland application) so under the office submitted to section in the form, should I put CPC mississauga and Ontario Canada or VO office of the PA ?

Does he have an apartment/house in Canada? Is he paying rent in Canada? Does he have a job in Canada? I'd say if he's planning to return in November, he's still considered as "living in Canada".

I know people send them thru mail. I called them today and was told to only send it thru webform.. I would suggest to call them first

Following is my timeline :

App sent : April 12, 2017
App rcvd : April 13, 2017
AOR1 rcvd : May 09, 2017
App linked : May 09, 2017
SA rcvd : May 12, 2017

Since then we did not receive any correspondence from them. I called on May 23 and the systems were down then called again on May 29 and they told me that they sent correspondence on May 10 which we never received about the Schedule A and PCC.

They advised to report the technical issue via webform. I asked her that what about the 30 days for the Schedule A ? She advised that it should be ok as we have not yet received the notification about it.

For now I have reported the Technical issue via webform as well as via the tab on CIC My account. But like others I am also a little anxious that what to do about the Schedule A and PCC situation :( Any suggestions ?

print and sign the schedule A along and send it by mail along with your PCC to CIC

this would be much faster than submitting them via webform. just double check and call them again to make sure there are no additional documents they requested with their correspondence

i submitted mine via both the IRCC web form and tech issue in my CIC but never got any indication whether or not it was received even though it was already passed the supposed 10 day response time for the web forms

so I submitted them via mail and the PR status changed from application received to in progress within a week

We just received AOR2 today. We are applying from Korea and it was transferred to the VO in Ottawa. We still never got the health check request though. Is that a little weird?
