We are missing one signature T.T thats 2 for the sponsor and 2 for the applicant right? And the picture needed is the big size picture?thanks

Yup. That's a common mistake people seem to make on this particular form and an easy fix. Not too sure what you mean about big size picture?

ECAS is showing in process this morning on PA's side!

Thank you very much. i just would like to know if the information is autosave.

Secondly, I am originally from Pakistan and residence in UAE from past 25 years. Can anyone guide me which will be my Visa Office. as over the spreadsheet i do not see UAE as Visa Office?

Your bit of information is highly appreciated.

thanks :)
Im also applying from UAE but sent documents to Mississauga, They will decided which VO I believe. Still haven't got AORs, will advice once I do.

Hello, I am new here, anyways below is what is going on so far with my file, still waiting for AOR. I am in Canada and sponsoring my wife (US Citizen) . File got returned the first time in April, coz i forgot to notarized the birth certificate. Sent the same file back with the requested document. Fingers crossed this time, hopefully it will go through.

Hey, I checked USA required documents and there were no country specifications. Why do you say "forgot" to get it notarized? Did you notarize your marriage certificate too? I'm asking because that was one of my fears as I too copied my marriage certificate and his birth certificate.

Can anybody suggest any ideas as what to do?
Application sent April 20.
Received April 21.
AOR : May 19.

I can't for the life of my link my account online. It keeps saying it wrong. I've tried all the tricks written on here. I've tried calling and can never get a live agent. I even went through technical support and nothing.
Any direction?

Don't worry. Just because OP is sponsoring a US resident doesn't mean they were born in the US. It's very possible they had a birth certificate in another language. Any documents in a different language need to be translated and certified. If your marriage license and birth certificate are from the US and in English, regular copies are fine.

Checked my PA's ecas and it has a 3rd line. Started processinv our application on May 23,2017..
Nice progress guys! The third line is your AOR2 :)

Does my PA will still receive an email?

Perhaps, depends on the VO. Just from following this forum I've seen some cases where the Ottawa VO doesn't send an email. I'd check with the Manila thread!

AOR1 - May 19th.
Application received on April 25

So happy! I now have a question and some advice.

MY QUESTION: I am the sponsor AND representative. The AOR email was sent to me but addressed to my common-law partner. I created a MyCIC account in MY name but I am wondering if I am also supposed to create a MyCIC account in my common-law partner's (Principal Applicant's) name as well?

When I log on to MyCIC it says no message and medicals etc not required and says currently reviewing eligibility and awaiting final decision. I am guessing I should make an account also in Principal Applicant's name even though I am the representative??? Advice would be greatly appreciated. Can I make another account in her name even though I made my own account with a bank account in my name?? I would need to use the same bank account for my common-law partner...

MY ADVICE:

For anyone having troubles linking their application, this is the method I used (I found this method on this forum) and it worked the first time:

Someone posted this and it is what I used:

"Try this combination :

Application # : xxxxxxxxxx
family name : PRINCIPAL APPLICANT LAST NAME (all caps)

Do not put anything in Passport field

Just a space in city of birth
Country : where she was born

Province : same as what you put in application
City : same as what you put in application
Marital status : married
# of family members : if no childfren, put 2 (that will be sponsor and principal applicant)"

Except I did not use all caps for family name and for marital status I put common-law instead of married. Worked smoothly the first time! Thanks whoever wrote this advice!

Good luck everyone!

Glad it worked for you!
