I just sent the Schedule A form through "Report a Technical Issue" (I hope I did that the right way). It's been about a week and a half and we still didnt hear from them to upload the form. As you mentioned, there was no upload field on our account. So I decided to send it through by Reporting a Technical Issue (which I believe is sending it through Webform as people keep on referring on here, hopefully!). I haven't sent the PCC yet as they haven't requested for it, but would it be a problem by sending that as well without their request?

Sending the PCC as well should be fine. Some applicants have done it as well as sent printed copies through mail as well. I think you should send it through webform(see link) cause the IT technical report is not one of the routes.

But, isn't the PCC valid for only 3 months? Worst case scenario, if for some reason our application is sent back. It would take another week or so for us to resend it and then wait another 4-5 weeks before the AOR. If that happens, we will have to do the PCC again.

Unless your country specifically has a PCC that has an expiration date of 3 months listed directly on the document, then no, it does not expire.

Hello, I am new here, anyways below is what is going on so far with my file, still waiting for AOR. I am in Canada and sponsoring my wife (US Citizen) . File got returned the first time in April, coz i forgot to notarized the birth certificate. Sent the same file back with the requested document. Fingers crossed this time, hopefully it will go through.
Can any one tell me what no. you guys calling to contact call centre and which further option you guys choose to talk to an agent.

i submitted mine through tech support as suggested by CIC staff i spoke with over the phone as I dont have an upload option in addition to sending them via IRCC web form.

I will also send them via mail as well once I received the signed form and PCC from my wife which should be delivered on tuesday

Well yaa all the important updates are visible to you..
PA should link the account .. but if they are not that perfect with computers or mycic account .. then you can do it... My wife gave my email address for my wife's mycic account and shared her login info so that I can keep a track ...in case she is busy...
You can do it now as well .. it will take you almost 15 - 25 mins to make a new gc key account and then link app.
Make sure that mycic account is in PA's name and name should be same as on their passport.
Choose security questions that are easy or write down answers at a safe place.

When you link file
There are a few tricks you can also read April and March 2017 forums..
City of birth for your spouse should be 1 space (just click the field and hit space bar once)
No need to put passport info..
First name last name and destination province as mentioned in the file.
Number of applicants 2 (you and your spouse ,+1 for each kid/dependent)
That's how I linked mine and my friend's ...

I had my wife hand sign it and send me a copy just to me on the safe side and not risking them rejecting it.

Hi to all. I've sent my application last April 6 and tracking showed that it arrived on the address, April 10 but I didn't recieved any e-mail from the CIC giving me UCI number or Application number. How long do they usually give it to you? Also, I've read in some threads that they will mail it back to you if there's something wrong, so I guess that there's nothing wrong on mine.

just including my timeline here as it maybe helpful for others.

Application Received: April 06, 2017
Linked Application: May 04, 2017
AOR: May 03, 2017
Started Processing: May 02, 2017
Medical Request: May 09, 2017
Schedule A Request: ?

1. We received your application to sponsor on April 6, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on May 3, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on May 2, 2017.
4. May 4 - Linked my application to CIC online account.
5. May 9 - Medical requested. May 15, medical done. (June 22? hopefully medical results received by CIC by this time.)
6. May 10 - Received letter from CIC stating I'm approved as a sponsor and that they will be requesting Schedule A in the next 5 business days.

Now I'm waiting for CIC's request to submit the Schedule A. Should I wait a bit longer before I inquire since it's past 5 business days, it's been 7 business days and counting.
Also waiting for medical results to be sent to CIC, should be about 14-21 days?

for those who mailed the sched a, did you include any cover letter with the package or just the form and pcc?

also what address did you mail it to?

I just received my wifes signed form and will be mailing it to CIC tomorrow since the post office is closed today

We received our AOR on Saturday but haven't linked our profile yet. Once we link it should we start PCC process or wait till CIC requests it?
