Has anyone else gotten a request to upload schedule a on mycic? I'm using a lawyer and I can't even check my own account! Regret using a lawyer!

Same here, sent it out on 18th; it was received on 19th April. I called IRCC few times and they are saying it's normal. I am so confused.

Hey guys we courierd our package to the below address as advised by our lawyer. Is that an issue? I'm getting worried because our application was received on April 19 and no AOR yet!

I think there is no issue if you send your application in that address..

Saw someones timeline who send his app on that address and received by cic on Feb 6,2017. On Feb 25,2017 he got his Aor

You should get it anytime coz when I called CIC they said they are working on April 13-14 applicants & but I already got my AOR on May 13 & when i asked when i should expect my sponsor approval letter they mentioned in 2 weeks but i got it next day so i don't think they are following any pattern for applications so hope for the best & call them early moening like around 8:10-15 am & try couple of times. When they pick it up then ask about your application coz they can track

Hello everyone

I submitted my application to sponsor my husband end of April on the 25th.. They received it April 28th 2017.

I got it returned back to me today May 25th..(the letter included in it was dated May 23). They sent it back because I put my mailing address instead of my husband's on form IM0008.. And I didn't include the authorization to release form 5476. They were kind to highlight the area but I really hope that's the only error! I will be sending it back tomorrow and I'm so nervous about it. I really hope that everything else is correct.

Pls if anyone else has had the same issue that I have please offer some words of advice.

I have been reading about people here getting text messages.. How do I get that as well?

Hey all. This message confused me because we also didn't submit IMM 5476 with our application because it says it is "not mandatory". Who is this supposed to give access to? Olasalo1, maybe you can clarify about your case and why you should have included that. Has everyone else included IMM 5476 in their applications? I'm hoping we didn't miss a crucial step because things weren't clear...

Actually when they find 1 mistake they just indicate that & send it back so I would suggest check the forma again properly & send. When I applied for my citizenship couple of years back, my documents came back three times, every single time they find something new & send it back so they don't mark all mistakes at once. So I highly recommend check the forms & send it to them also ask anything if you have any confusion, best of luck

It's because we made the error of putting my Canadian mailing address on the principal applicant form instead of my husband.. in order for that to be ok we had to include the additional form 5476 to authorize the mailing address

It authorize information to me released to me basically. So to correct it I will just put my husband mailing address and include his email. So all correspondence will be emailed instead of mailed
