GCMS notes are an in depth look at what is happening with your file.

They tell you where your file is at the VO, ex. Registry, Put Away etc.

They contain personalized notes written by the officer processing your file regarding your relationship and application.

They contain updates on your assessments- Eligibility, CRIM/SEC, Medical etc and show you when they were last worked on.

Pretty much everything you need to know about your file is in these notes.

They take up to 30 days to be sent to your email.

I order them again each time they arrive.

Hi crayon, i ordered today for the first time. However, I wasnt ask to pay anything. I heard usually they charge you 5$. I just received an email saying that to contact them after 31 days for any inquires about my request. Is that normal.

I still haven't received my GCMS notes. if you request email do they sometimes still send it by letter?

Just out of interest Gary_87, what was the reason you ordered them? We're still on the same timeline - I was under the impression ours was middle of the road in terms of processing times.

Im mainly curious to see if any mention was made of my lack of chinese police cert and any other information the processing officer determined of interest from the first stage.

our apps are pretty much stuck in stasis for a few more months i think with london.

Any one has application sent to Ankara? What is the approximate processing time there? Website says 10 months.

After a long time, I got a paper mail yesterday that said my sponsorship was approved and my app is in Ankara now.
I knew it though, as I had called a while ago!

Mine went to Ankara on Aug 2nd. Any idea how long Ankara takes to process?

received my GCMS notes. They said nothing other than that its put away in London. No mention of anything we included with the application, nor of my missing police certificate.
only thing it said was "things sponsor included for proof of relationship: marriage certificate"

and that was it.

sorry if you mentioned this before, but when is the best time to order GSMC? How many months after the application has been received. ours was received may 2nd. SA was June 3rd (according to the date on the sa letter) and i believe PA processing started may 30.

30 days from when you sent it in originally. If it's late e-mail them and you'll get it within 2 business days.
