Yes I am not PR or citizen. Yes applied for OWP.
What kind of things did you mention in the application for your wife's ties to her home country? It sounds like they were suspicious that she would end up trying to use the OWP as a way to stay permanently. I think the lack of funds part sounds kind of odd, since it seems like you would make plenty of money to help support her and help pay her tuition, but maybe they didn't like the fact that you were paying for her tuition. I'm not completely sure.

Edit: And I only meant that you might receive more responses in the Foreign Workers section of the forum.

Google "link paper file CIC"

July 23rd which is supposed to be the day we can link our applications online!! Something to keep us busy as we wait on our applications.

It's better than eCAS of course but not detailed like GCMS notes. You will be able to view: application status (Open/Closed), Review of medical results (passed or failed), review of submitted documents (any additional required document will be shown and document will be uploaded here), interview schedule (if any), review of biometric information, and final decision information. You will still need to order your GCMS to see the progress. The good thing about My Account, you are alerted of any updates as long as an officer opens your file (you get an automated email........you will even get unwanted emails telling you that there has been no update since last time...) and no more missed emails from CIC (unless you don't use My Account)...you can start registering for "My CIC account" now.

Assalamu-Alaikum,

Your wife needs to stop worrying ;)

She sounds a lot like mine hahaha

Insha Allah, we will both have our wives here soon.

I told my wife.. not to worry.. I'd litigate everything moves; if they think otherwise. lol..

this sort of long process is so challenge for any relationship; i can write a drama of it...

My wife just got her visitor visa stamped in her passport (it was approved a few days ago), and our sponsorship application is also in process. I'm quite impressed, they gave a 5 years Multiple visa!!

Our spousal app was received on April 25th. Also I sent in the visitor visa application before I got the sponsor approval, just a few days before.
