I have submitted application on 26 april,2016 and cic-m received it by 28 april, 2016. i received confirmation email on may 18,2016. After that no information wat is happening with the application.

i called twice to c wats happening coz as of last week processing time for SA was 43 days and after speaking with first agent a reminder was sent to case processing office and when i spoke second time with agent the agent told nothing that they can do and not to call dem for nxt 3 months

ok, so turns out my application was sent to London and not Sydney. Not the best news as I sent everything in using the Australia guide and also London has been very slow recently.

Also, SA was approved on May 20th.

After a long time, I got a paper mail yesterday that said my sponsorship was approved and my app is in Ankara now.
I knew it though, as I had called a while ago!

Police clearance certificate is needed only for the Principal Applicant, not for the sponsor in family sponsorship
