Still no SA email here, and no third line yet. Can't call but still waiting on updates.

I've always wondered, why is seeing the third line relevant in your Ecas? I thought that once it changed to 'In process' that was the most important thing. What does the third line signify?

third line shows they have physically opened your fie at the second VO.

Nothing.. just individual curiosity

says in process but just that theyve received it. no third line saying theyve started to process it yet.

Congrats, can you please tell your timeline.
As my application received on April 28, and AOR received on May 18, haven't got SA yet. Please advise your timeline.

same.. "in process" outside and only two lines. no third line yet.
no clue if that means my VO in Paris received our application yet.

congrats! does your AOR2 was sent by an email?

Yes it was an email.

I just got my sponsorship approval email.. I have a problem though, when I recieved my AOR1, I noticed PA's name was spelt wrongly and I sent a case specific enquiry to CIC almost immediately, I got a response fro IRCC a week later telling me that they recieved my email and they have corrected it but the sponsorship approval email I got just now still says the thesame name that was spelt wrongly... Should I send another case specific enquiry?

no harm of doing it.. although this time it would go to the local VO overseas i believe..

What does your ECAS say? If it is spelled incorrectly there, I would send another CSE.

My Ecas is spelled incorrectly as well

Then I advise you wait until the app reaches the overseas VO and send another CSE.

My wife's address was missing the district and province and we emailed SVO when they got the application and they updated it within 3 days.

CIC received my app on April 20, 2016 and I got SA on June 13. Did you call them?

My husband just got COPR today in the mail from Ottawa! I'm not sure why but I was still expecting something to go terribly wrong so I couldn't fully relax till he send me a photo of the actual document.

Here's our timeline:

App received: April 8, 2016
AOR1: April 30, 2016
SA: May 16, 2016
AOR2 : May 17, 2016
Additional documents requested (police check): May 17, 2016
Decision Made: June 12, 2016
COPR received: June 22, 2016

The whole thing took 76 days, which funny enough, is faster than it took to get his police clearance from the FBI. He needs to enter by December 8th which isn't a big surprise because it's around when the medical expires. We're aiming for August landing. It's so incredibly excited to be closing this long distance chapter of our lives, I still can't believe how quickly it went. Good luck to everyone else that is getting SA now and waiting for DM!
