OMG ecas changed to in process this morning! No third line yet though. On hold with cic to see if they will tell me anything

Update: the agent on the phone was super nice but said that my sponsorship was still being assessed and I haven't been approved yet and the file was still in Canada. She said she saw that I was over the processing time and she sent an email to the office. Not really sure what I think now! She said I should be hearing something very soon.

I wondered that too... But why would they not want to confirm? She had me on hold so long I was getting weirded out

if there is no confirmation of approval in the system, then the call center agent can't confirm an approval. remember, the people who answer the phone may not be visa officers, and will not have the right to make assumptions or conclusions about files. the call center agent can put an inquiry, that's about it. they don't have access to the full file. they are pretty much seeing the same thing you are when you look at ecas, perhaps with just a few more details.

My application started processing on June 15 in New Delhi. I got AOR2 email as well.

Hi guys! My husband got an mail from CIC yesterday, June 21 in Canada informing him that he was approved as a sponsor but we already know that since he did call the CIC last week. I'm just puzzled because they sent it through mail rather than just emailing him. I'm pretty sure we included his email address. Anyway, I just want to share it to you especially to those who haven't received anything yet from CIC. Maybe they sent it through mail that's why it is taking longer. God bless guys

I agree with johnybegood, since weeks went by without email notification from CIC. Then after I called back, the agent confirmed for whatever reason a letter was never generated so she sent an inquiry. Just call back if it passes a few weeks, since I too wanted to confirm which VO and everything was on track (eventually my husband eCas was updated to "in process").

I've always wondered, why is seeing the third line relevant in your Ecas? I thought that once it changed to 'In process' that was the most important thing. What does the third line signify?
