Haha lol applying for a trv and convincing the IO is harder than pr application and it is one of the many ways of convincing the officer. ..ty

I hope it works. I think once we get SA's it should be automatic but sadly it seems to have the opposite effect. I have just been making the government rich with TRV applications.

I call call center everyday in the morning and they tell me it is still in process...I don't know what to ask him/her to know where my file is. Atleast if they tell me that I am approved...I will be relieved. :-X

Exactly what happened to me today. The agent didn't say anything useful and his tone was as if I was a stupid caller! Didn't appreciate that one bit!

Today is a great day! My hubby just received SA! It's been 51 days from the day they received the application till SA. Being sent to Ottawa so I hope it goes as fast as others!

App received: April 25th
Aor1: May 13th
SA- June 15th

still cant access the sponsor side ecas

mine is still showing app received and 2 lines even after the SA. i think it takes time before my visa office gets the app. and yea no access to sponsor side.

I called CIC and they told me that the application was approved on June 13th.

Our application was recieved on April 11th,

AOR1 was on May 3rd

and we are STILL waiting for SA. its day 65 now... this is annoying, calling them now for the 3rd time

you ECAS should have in process by now. keep checking ECAS regularly should have DM some day followed by Passport request via email sometime soon depending on VO which is processing it

I called 3 times today and finally one of them told me that my sponsorship assessment was successful and was done on June 13th 2016 and they have sent an email, "which I never received". Is someone who have not received email??? Why they make process so hard??? they should be more responsible it is like life and death for many

Make sure you and your spouse check your spam/junk box on your email.

After reading the mail probably the 5th time, I'm not sure if I have to send my passport and photos.
I think I'm just gone call them.
Since English is not my native language I have to read some mails a few more times to get everything...

I'm quite sure you don't have to send your actual passport but just a copy. Not sure about the pictures. I'm in Canada already, and case was processed in Ottawa, so I'm not sure where to send the stuff. Did you manage to call? I could only find an email address for Ottawa, no phone number

They told me the same thing and asked me to check my Junk folder. The guy said he will make a note in my file to send the confirmation email again. Not sure if I will get it or not.

At this time, I would not worry about the email as there are lots of people who did not receive any correspondence and got to know the decision over the phone. I hope we get emails, once our files are transferred to visa offices.

I checked mine, I dont have any and my wife trash is only from 14th June....I think there is a bigger conspiracy between gmail and cic lol ;D
