Same here my Application was received on April 20,2016. I called on June 13,2016 and the lady told me your SA is been approved and you will be getting an email soon . I dont know what she meant by soon i never got anything . Nothing on my Ecas status and PA applicant status

Does anyone know how CPC-M transfers our papers to the VO? Is that also thru mail in bulk or they might have database or network internally? Whatcha think?

Please, turn off your CAPS lock.

Since the permanent residence side shows "in process", that most likely means the sponsor has already been approved, you just haven't been notified yet. It can take a week or more for CPC-M to send you correspondence after they approve the sponsor. If they mailed the SA letter to you, it could take a lot longer than if they email it to you. You can call the CIC to verify if you have SA at this point. Call 1-888-242-2100.

i was told i was approved to sponsor my wife (sa) on june 3 , my pa side in process two days later ,i was told i was mailed sa letter but not yet received,,,canada post sucks

Not sure if CPC-M is mailing out SA mails at all; I received SA email on May 19th, states that my Application was forwarded to CPC-M, I expected a mail to confirm but nothing, After a week wait, I called CPC-M to make sure "...forwarded to CPC-M" is not typo, the agent confirmed "it is typo - should read Vienna, a mail will come to you..." NO MAIL to date. I don't know if it is omission or commission.

just received an e-mail from CIC requesting for more docs. they asked for a whole bunch of stuff, including police certificates, which i found it weird, because i thought they would ask for police cert at a later stage...

Police certs should all be suitted upfront when you sene the original app.

The mississauga stage seeks to determine if you have a complete application, as well as assessing the sponsor so theyve found thay you didnt submit them and are asking for them now before they transfer the file.

Congrats on the approval.

They told me it was almost done and not to call again for a few weeks.
Still just app recieved so not approved yet. Looks like mine is going to be one of those longer applocations.

If your ecas PA side shows as in process..then you are SA

Are you guys sure that if it shows in progress under pa that it means sponsor is approved? I haven't heard a single thing from Cic but when I was finally able to access eCas under pa it already had the status of in progress. Then when I click that it has two lines, one for saying application has been reciived on May 2 and application has started processing may 30th. Do you think that means I got sa? Currently it's day 44. When I was able to access eCas under pa it may have been day 20ish.

Yes, we're sure. Often CPC-M takes a while after they approve the sponsor and forward the application to send correspondence. In my case, there was a 1 week delay. If they send it via mail instead of email, it'll be longer.

yes if your pa side says ip,then you got sa and your file is being forwarded to local vo and they started processing it on may 30th

No way!!!??!! I'm sitting here thinking I didn't get aor1 and didn't get sa yet. My application is doomed!! I am totally going to call Cic today just to confirm that! Don't want u guys to think I don't believe you just don't want to have my hopes up and then be told things aren't happening with my app! But wow that is crazy!!
