MP, CSE, and calling is really all you can do unfortunately. Even then, there's not too much that your MP can do besides ask what's going on.

I really hope you hear something soon.

I hope you get your SA soon so you can find out where your application was sent. I'm curious about that too. Have you tried calling recently? I see you're at 50 days. Mine was approved at 51 days, I found out by calling at 54 days, and I got my SA email at 58 days.

thanks decoy. we called last week (when we were at 48 days). they asked us if we had submitted proof of intent to return and when we said we did, they reminded us how important it was to have sent that. then they checked the status and said its still processing, that its almost done, but could take another few weeks and to call back if we haven't heard anything by then. Just keep on waiting i guess.

@ Gary_87

I'm residing in Canada. I haven't received SA yet. I was actually showing my spouse the April spreadsheet and explaining the stages and when I went to check ECAS, mine was showing as In Process. I had got into the habit of checking daily recently so it was a nice surprise. Although it was amusing to explain to my spouse that it meant something but didn't really mean anything!

From what I can infer, they seem to be sending a lot of visa exempt applicants to Ottawa recently. Because of the speed, I am hoping for Ottawa but it's not like Sydney is taking forever either.

Sounds good. Keep us posted! :)

that's pretty good.. at least the call centre was willing to go to that kinda of details. i have called at least 6 times.. none of them would tell me the reason of delaying. i am well over 70 days pending for SA.

hopefully you'll be fine. its silly that they are curious about whether the sponsor has intentions of moving after sponsor approval. They normally determine and assess sponsors intention to move at the sponsor stage.

We're still waiting on SA and when we called they said we needed to make sure we had enough proof of intent to move back at the sponsor evaluation. Weird.

Your emails, new forms should be good. Did you purchase flights? I'd also start doing house searches (for rent or purchase) by emailing realtors and/or emailing jobs so you have a continual flow of evidence.

I did not purchase flights but sent them info about the flights we have in mind. I just inquired about an apartment that will be available in the fall. I'm going to send them this info as well and keep looking at apartments. I had sent info about apartments before with my original application. I feel like they have missed some of the info I already gave them. Or maybe our pics are so pretty and show off Italy too much and they are wondering why I want to leave. I feel like that could be a reason. Italy has a lot of problems but those can't be captured in a photo and why would I write to them about that. Most of the pics I sent are of our summer vacations as that's when I usually took pics of us together.

I hope you get SA soon. Let's keep each other in our prayers and think positive. Positivity creates good outcomes.

May I ask what number you called? I tried calling CPC Ottawa and they were not helpful and could not tell me anything and didn't ask for the application number or anything.

Just logged in to ecas and it says Decision Made. I'm in complete shock, this was better than any timeline I could imagine.
App received April 8
AOR April 30
SA May 16
DM: June 12

Are we supposed to get an email too confirming the DM or is it just waiting for COPR? Husband is from the US so I'm guessing they may not request the passport? What happens now, I haven't even researched this far ahead because I wasn't expecting DM till fall.

Ugh I need some hope and/or know I'm not the only one on this lonely island. Has anyone had their application received last week of April (Mine was April 25th) and has SA?? Or who is still waiting? I'm at 49 days awaiting SA ::)
