PaulaG - if you want me to edit you into the spreadsheet, can you provide the dates for the other colums if you have them too? such as AOR, medicals, SA etc

Thanks

Gary, thanks for taking notice!
Took another look and i was able to update this time :) thanks!

Why do you think that? It seems that it was just the date that was the issue.
I only say that because of the difficulty getting cic to bend and cooperate.

What does your ecas say ? my application was received on 22nd april. waiting for SA anxiously.

you and me both. we applied on the same day. 49 days for us both so far.

I am in my 75 days. you can check my timeline. i wonder what else i could try. called in cic many times.. "in process" was told.. did a MP inquiry back in the Middle of May, same answer. ecas PA side just showed "application received"

I have only received the 1st AOR email back in April 22nd. after that no document request or what so ever.

What else I could try? my MP assistance told me I could contact them again after a month.. so 2 more weeks, it will be after the last MP inquiry.

I also order the CAIPS last Friday; not sure why my case has no SA for so long.

Hi,

My application was received by CIC-M April 26, 2016. I received AOR on May 12. I still cannot access my Ecas.

Do you guys know why?

Does anybody have same problem?

Please advise.

I sent them a lot of screen shots, emails, etc., I wrote a letter and re-did form IM5540 with a new date for intention to move. This has to convince them. Also the fact that I want to continue on with the application. I really think they should believe me. I sent them everything by email but monday I'm going to mail everything to them too. I feel like it's a silly thing that they're worried about and if they look at all the evidence, including what I originally sent them in April, they should understand. So I have at least 50 pages of new evidence.

hopefully you'll be fine. its silly that they are curious about whether the sponsor has intentions of moving after sponsor approval. They normally determine and assess sponsors intention to move at the sponsor stage.

We're still waiting on SA and when we called they said we needed to make sure we had enough proof of intent to move back at the sponsor evaluation. Weird.

Your emails, new forms should be good. Did you purchase flights? I'd also start doing house searches (for rent or purchase) by emailing realtors and/or emailing jobs so you have a continual flow of evidence.

@elizajoey: have you received SA yet? i saw you went to in processing. Any idea which visa office your app is being sent to? I saw you have sydney or ottawa. Are you in aus or in canada? Just curious, cos im wondering where my app will be sent.

Based on recent trends it doesn't appear applications being sent to Ottawa have anything to do with whether or not the person is in Canada anymore, although that's one situation. It seems like they're forwarding more applications to Ottawa instead of other visa offices to help backlogged offices. I haven't seen much of a pattern though. Maybe right now it's a combination of luck and criteria for "easy" cases.

yeah thats true. i know that sydney is not normally backlogged though as not many applications get processed through it. Mainly why i'm curious to see if another person residing in australia has their application sent to ottawa or sent over here.

I could be wrong, but I remember seeing an Australian person recently transferred to Ottawa. There's a chance yours could. I have a hunch that they're treating "backlogs" differently. Even though Sydney is fast and (at least used to) processes applications in 4-6 months, the CIC might no longer consider that as acceptable either. It seems like they're trying to get overall processing times as low as possible, so it would make sense for them to forward applications from fast visa offices to an even faster one. Their goal might be to have all offices be as close to Ottawa times as possible.

I hope you get your SA soon so you can find out where your application was sent. I'm curious about that too. Have you tried calling recently? I see you're at 50 days. Mine was approved at 51 days, I found out by calling at 54 days, and I got my SA email at 58 days.

Thanks for your feedback Buddy. I am more concerned because whenever I enter my details in ECAS it does not even show that my application has been received and is in process. I did receive my AOR and file number on May 12 it-self.

It seems people who have received the application with me can at-least login to Ecas and view that their application in process...

Should I be concerned...and call CIC to inquire...?
