so just called and got through straight away. turns out calling from oz means you're right at the start of the day!

said its still in processing and its almost done but not quite finished yet. said it could take another few weeks and that the 43 day average right now is not accurate.

Hopefully not another few weeks. She kept mentioning that we need to be aware that as we live overseas we need to provide proof of return which we did but seemed odd she mentioned it, when if that was an issue they would have requested it by now.

Not worried, but would be nice to know!

Hello Gary,

I applied in March and my application was forwarded to Sydney Visa office only because my wife is from the Fiji Islands. It took them a total of 3 months before they informed us that SA has been approved and that file has been transferred to Sydney visa office.

Thought this might help you. The process is slow but it gets through.

AarCee.

Mine has been in process one 5 weeks now
With medical results received at the third line so I'm just hoping to hear soon ,cause it went into process like 10 days after it was received in Kingston now making it over 5 weeks since

Okay great!! Hoping everything moves along nicely and you'll be with your other half soon :) I am still waiting on the third line to appear on the PA side.

Thanks aarcee. The sponsor side is generic though and random it would seemed. VOs dont seem to factor into who gets approved quicker.

Hope mine doesnt take 3 months :S

Sydney is a good vo ive heard so hopefully you make up for lost time there.

How does the principal applicant access ecas? for me, the sponsor, I can access ecas but still no updates for SA (day 48). does sponsor need to be approved first before they send a email to the person being sponsored?

Use the file number with the principal applicant's information. Your eCAS will likely never change to show SA (mine hasn't... I don't think anyone's has lately). They sent my husband (the sponsor) the SA email one week after he was approved (I found that out by calling on the 54th day).

Can anyone help with how long it takes kingston to be finished with an application after it say :we started processing, medical results received?

Thanks in regards

Kingston is taking an average of 10 -12 months to process application . There is also a thread specifically for Kingston sponsorship so you can visit it.

Thank you. I was able to see my wife's PR application side. CIC received on 20th and medical results has been received.

hi everyone! I'm just confused about something. I sent my application on April 21st, arrived and signed for on April 22nd, received an email on May 15th saying they received the application but online (Ecas) it says it was received on April 25th. Now is it May 15th or April 25th the date that I have my AOR1?

Phoned the CIC today. No SA still. Agent had told that it would take 17 months for processing. Our app is still in process. this gonna be a looooonggg wait, I guess..

You've got AOR1 on email on May 15. CIC received your app on April 25. From 25th of April, you start the counting for SA, which would take like up to 43 days to process.
