Thanks, Johnny. My partner didn't able to give them a call today due to workload at the office. Anyway, I hope to hear good news from them tomorrow. If not tomorrow, prolly by next week. :D

CIC sent me a email that they have received my application 2016/APR/20. I tried checking through their website but still none, anyone got a clue when would they send an update? Also, my wife is here with me in Canada right now (for about 9 months) on visitors which will expire 2016/July/02 she will leave on July 1st. Can she come back here in Canada and visit me while application is on progress?

It took me a week before I was able to access eCAS, don't worry. A lot of other people have been having issues with eCAS lately. You should try extending her visitor's visa. Yes, she can visit you while the application is in process. SA is taking anywhere from 40-50 days right now.

do one thing apply for visa extension paper and it will take anywhere around 3 months to finalize and that time she is on implied status(legal to reside in canada ) and suppose if you get the extension good iff not she can stay that long and go back lol

I don't know about being able to extend her visitors visa as what they say in CIC website that we need to send an application for extension 30 days prior to the visa expiration. But I'm glad that she will be able to visit. Thank you. Also should once she visits again should we mention that she has a processing sponsorship? would that give her more visiting time, than just 6 months?

That's only a recommended time. As long as they receive the application before the day her status expires it will be fine. Be sure to send it with tracking and signature confirmation.

Oh well, Sadly flying ticket has already been bought. Anyway, about my question regarding when she visits again, would it be better to tell the immigration officer that she has a processing sponsorship?

If they ask, yes, be honest that you have a PR application in process at the border with the CBSA officer.

I'm not quite sure about visa office, since she just came without visitors visa, but we did apply for a visa extension and got extended till 2016/July/02, we sent it somewhere in Ontario.
