Are you be able to access the sponsor's side?
By the way, if you're using the file number and applicant's information, you most likely won't be able to see the sponsor's side.

Hi Decoy,

Wondering if why are you still awake...Hehe. Hmmm. I am using the UCI and his info. :)

It's only 10:49pm PST ;D. It might just take some time for his information to show up. They can be fairly inconsistent at updating eCAS. I'd expect to be able to see it within another week.

Hoping for the best. :) As well as yours. Ottawa is really fast, isn't? I can feel that yours will be app received to DM :)

Hopefully! The other VOs are showing signs of starting to catch up too or at least starting to make positive changes, especially New Delhi. I predict that more applications will eventually be rerouted to Ottawa too.

Julies, I'm curious, how much proof of relationship did you send? I heard on here a few times that they've been retrained to work on the SA and PA side simultaneously for certain steps, explaining the fast DMs. My whole application was about an inch thick. I sent probably 40-60 photos on photo paper and then maybe 100-150 pages of chat logs/phone logs/text screenshots/receipts/travel documents/etc. I know they have to scan everything they use into their system and then shred any documents they deem to be excessive like extra chat logs, but I'm wondering if the amount of proofs I sent could be delaying my SA if they wait until the PA side has reached a certain step.

If I don't hear anything about SA in a couple weeks then I'll order notes to try and see what's going on... I know it's a little preemptive, but 46 days for SA is... a while.

Not too much for proof. 4 or 5 pages of photos (each page had 6 with a caption), joint bank account statements, mortgage documents. I think that might be all? We've been married & living together almost 7 years & have 2 kids together. Apart from laying out our timeline, Including stuff from dating/engagement didn't seem important/didnt validate our relationship.

I hope mine will come soon so I can stop stressing too.

Unfortunately, it will probably take a few years for the offices with the highest processing times and the most backlog to speed up. Ottawa didn't have that much of a backlog to begin with. I'm just hoping we see more positive changes from CIC in the next year.

I know someone who wants to sponsor her fiance from London, so I hope for their sake too that the LVO speeds up

At least when the new way to view family class applications comes out on Thursday we'll have a little bit more peace of mind with the PA side of things.

Hahaha. Yes, hoping all applicants will go to Ottawa since Mississauga still processing the 2015 applicants.

Mississauga has really not been doing well in my opinion lately. They've been so sporadic with sending out SAs alone. Some people have been getting their SA through the mail when they got their AOR by email.

has your husband ever sponsored someone before? has he ever been on welfare? is he currently living outside of canada?

if the answer to all of these is NO, then you are fine :)
Everyone's case is individual and timelines are general.

Is living outside of Canada takes longer?

congrats julie! awesome. let us know when your COPR arrives and how the landing goes when it does! :)
