I sent a case specific enquiry a couple weeks ago to add my Right of Permanent Residence Fee and received this today:
"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We have received your supporting documents and have attached them to your application.
If further information is needed, the responsible office may contact you.

Please visit the online Help Centre or our website for further information. You can search by typing keywords.

Please do not reply to this email.

Sincerely,
If they asked you to send the fee probably otherwise all you can say for certain is they know you exist.

Could this mean that they're actually processing my SA now? I'm starting to get so frustrated.

No, it's still in Mississauga. I'm fairly sure of that.

If that's the case, they've been working on it for weeks, based on the response I got from Mississauga to correct a mistake on my application 13 days ago. What could be taking them so long with mine?

I forgot to mention a voluntary withdrawal I got on the PA side of the application. They just printed out my explanation and added it to my file. That wouldn't be holding it up.

I hope so. I'm just kind of at my limit for knowing that this is holding up the PA side of the application when this is supposed to be the easiest part, you know?

Makes me wonder why CIC look for when approving sponsorship. Should be easy for them to just go on the "system" and see if the sponsor is on social and have a criminal record? When minimum income requirement is exempted for spouses, SA for our cases should be the fastest to be approved.

I understand; but there is nothing you can do. Just settle off - try to keep your self busy with something else. It will be there eventually. I have been just like you, bothering myself. The worst was seeing the CIC email while driving, and considering the attachment was a letter that details why they reject my application - but after NEAR-MISS DRIVING incidents, I came home to find out a simple AS. You will be okay. Yes I think your application is still in Mississauga too.

Hi,

Okay, my application was received on April 1st, and I still haven't heard anything from them. Is it normal to take this long? I've heard it takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks just to recieve my AOR. So I should get it before June 1st. Then about 37 days for my SA, then how long would it approximately take nowadays? My husband is from Pakistan. My cousins wife got her visa in 5 months after CIC received it (dec15). My cousins husband, only nikkah done, he got his visa in 8 months (apr2016). Both of these cases were filed together, by same lawyer. If I get my SA by July 15, then how much longer would it take? I am so eager. Just my AOR is taking so long, anyone else?

I feel this way about my AOR... What could be holding them up, I feel like that last one. I just don't want them to send my app back! I just want to know they are going to keep it!
