They want a further medical report. I have some psychiatric diagnoses, so they want a bunch of information, if I'm a danger, need healthcare, blabla.
I'm worried though, because I intend to not work and stay at home.. I can't see how that should be a dealbreaker though, as long as I don't cost society money or pose a threat :/.

Thats sad but i dont think that can be a reason for inadmissiblity....you will be fine...

Mine finally updated today, too. Said it just started processing on 5/17.

Ours also says "in process" on eCAS - does that signify anything??

Sponsor side means u can expect sa soon
Pa side means u already got approved for sponsoring and ur file may be transferred to local vo/expected aor 2/etc

As you are the applicant it is interesting that before you have received SA they are asking for additional applicant information. You need to access your original Psychiatrist or most current DR. You have no other option that I can see.

also, good news about your PA eCAS changing to in process julie and linabuch. Updated your details on the spreadsheet. Keep an eye out for an email from the VO re AOR2 or getting a third line on the PA side of ecas

Your third line is your aor2!

Seriously, it's going so fast!
I'm incredibly thankful, period. But ESPECIALLY thankful because I know that this process is not fast for all, not by any means.

You could definitely say it's unexpected when you get an email saying that your application will be finalized "shortly". No one expects anything in this process to fall under the category of "short" haha!

AS arrived today at 3:43PM (Mississauga Time).

I was so anxious and even not thinking about it, diverting attention as much as possible (including not to check this forum unless it is early in am and late pm). My cell was busy today notifying my of everything, including email arrival, couldn't believe 'CIC' as a sender (checking while driving). Had to turn cancelling where I am going because it had PDF file attached. Scared to ... thinking rejected - trying to figure out why they did so until I open up and see the PDF:

"You have met the requirement for eligibility as a sponsor. ...forwarded to the visa office in CPC Mississauga for further processing. ..this visa office was selected based on your relative's country of nationality and the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act..."

My wife if PR in Germany for the last 10 years, thus we thought it will be transferred to Vienna or Ottawa. I see Ottawa is super fast, but don't know of Mississauga :-[

they also suggest to email medical Notification information sheet if it is not submitted upfront - We did submit both the Police Certificate and Medical Information sheet upfront and the Doctors who did the test reiterated that they already forwarded it - not sure if I have to send it again.

OK now, one thing is down - next reason for anxiety - I think she will be called for interview since our marriage is too young (December 2015) and have no children. Maybe they are going to send her to Vienna office or DÜSSELDORF, Germany.

To my friends who did not get AS, please take it easy, will come just like mine when you don't expect it.
