APRIL 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Hi guys. It's now showing that medicals have been received. I was surprised about this because I thought it would should this after SA. The medical was done upfront of course. Anyway, it's good news.

We were also transferred to Ottawa. No change on ECAS though but I don't expect that till at least tomorrow.

Do you guys know if we should go ahead and send our police certificate in now? It finally arrived in the mail last week. Or should we wait till they request it?
 
just called CIC to check on my status, I applied on April 08 (I know it just passed the 37 processing time, but I just wanted to call anyways). The lady who spoke with me was very polite and helpful, but she told me the decision hadnt been made yet. She said if I dont hear anything by mid June then I should call again. Anyways, I will be patient and wait...wait....wait.....wait......wait.....

Send it now. Don't wait until it's requested or else it could end up causing some delays. Just make sure you include a cover letter with it and your UCI/File Number explaining what you're sending in and that you wish it added to your application.
 
quick question... I noticed they spelt my first name wrongly when they emailed my UCI number but my middle name and surname is correct.

Should I call them to correct it and what is their number?

I'm so annoyed that third party FBI checks are allowed now...again. I have SA and still no FBI check in hand because it takes so dang long. Go figure...another (likely temporary) system change.
 
Those with SA's - keep an eye on your ecas page now. When the pa side changes to in process, thats your unofficial AOR and your bext milestone. Some places will send an aor 2 but unlikely so keep us posted and update the spreadsheet when it changes to in processing!

Im not envious of those who have to do fbi checks. Im amazed it takes so long to be honest.

Mid june is pretty long considering youre over. Shows how strictly they adhere to those times for the sponsor then.
 
I spent most of the day calling 1-888-242-2100 with only end of "hung up and try again later", followed by that sound of click. Am I dialling the right #?
 
I couldn't get through to call about my SA today. The lines were too busy. Oh well. :(

U got the right number, just wrong timing i guess...I am sure you would have gotten the same answer from the CIC agent even if your call went through. we received AOR 1 on the same day..so lets keep praying for our SA coming in the new few days.

It's coming! You are 7 days behind me and I was just notified of SA on Friday. You will be in next batch or maybe they sent snail mail in same batch as mine! Are you in the U.S. As well? Simple app? I'm Canadian, husband is American and we live in Florida with 2 kids. Married since 2008 so pretty straight forward and not much needed to show proof of our relationship , which I'm sure has a factor in our app going so quickly! Still, I wasn't expecting it this quickly!
