Hey guys, just a quick question. So if I can use the application number and see on the website that "the application was received" and "Medical has been received", it means my sponsorship is already approved and the actual immigration file is being worked on right?

No. Only if it says "in process" or "decision made".

Quoted from myself a few pages back:
"There are two sides. The left says: Sponsorship Application Status. The right says: Permanent Residence Application Status.

The information for the left, the sponsorship side, says "In Process" and when I click on it:

We received your application to sponsor xxxx on April 6, 2016.
We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 28, 2016.
We started processing your application on April 27, 2016.

The information for the left, the Permanent Residence Application Status says "Application Received" and when I click on it I see:
We received xxxx application for permanent residence on April 6, 2016.
Medical results have been received."

There is a spot in the IMM1344 form to list the sponsor's email address.

This is when I log in with the UCI with the sponsors information OR the File Number with the sponsor's information. If I log in with the file number and the Principal Applicant's information, I cannot see the sponsor's details.

Meds Received has little to nothing to do with the processing of your application. Mine has been exactly like this from the day I first accessed eCAS after AOR. The processing dates for the sponsor are also inaccurate, since it says they started processing it the day before they sent me AOR. In process can mean that they have opened your file, not that they are necessarily processing it at the current time.

eCAS is notoriously inaccurate. SA may not even show up. If you see the right hand side, the principal applicant's side, say "In Process" then you likely have gotten SA and the file has been transferred to the corresponding VO.

App received on the 4th of April, ECAS started processing on the 26th, no SA yet.

Other family class applications:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 6100, Station A

L5A 4H4 instead to----

Spouses, common-law or conjugal partner and dependent children:
CPC Mississauga
P.O. Box 3000, Station A
Mississauga, ON
L5A 4N6

is it okay to send the spousal sponsorship to the Other family class application address?

I'm sorry. Hopefully it won't be expensive and will be done quickly. Since it shows medicals received, I hope this means that we won't need to do more tests. What do you guys think? My husband is hospital phobic.

I am having similar issue with online application checking. I am the sponsor and I received AOR1 on May 12, 2016. When I enter UCI number with my information It does not show anything, but when I enter File number with my Husbands (Principal Applicant) information it only shows one PR tab no sponsor tab and just says that they have received PR application on April 25, 2016. No information of Medicals yet.

I hope this is normal? Please let me know.

it's quite common to not be able to sign into ECAS or see anything until AFTER sponsor approval. ECAS is not really a reliable indicator as to what's going on with your application, as for the most part it is updated AFTER you've already been sent info from CIC. Not having info on ECAS doesn't suggest anything about your processing. it just suggests it's not updated.

no. if they want updated information from him, they will ask. more likely than not, they won't care. what he does for work has no bearing on the application, since this is spousal sponsorship.
