To take away from AOR/SA chatter… I'm curious how you all met your Canadian! For us we met in Uganda while volunteering at an orphanage. Our times happened to overlap by a couple of months. I certainly didn't travel around the world to meet my future Canadian husband but hey. I'm not complaining!

We met online but met in real life few days after

It is not as important as aor/sa in my opinion. And i dont think anyone in this forum was going on a world wide tour to find their Canadian one.and it again doesn't matter how long u were dating /in love/?/ before someone got married. Once married you are married and it is gonna be the same with whoever got married .this is only my opinion and i am not judgemental. And i think this forum is more of an informative formal group .but like what i said we need to be stress free and relaxed while our file being processed but not diverting greately from the main thread family sponsorship april 2016

Just want to add my details to April applicants..

App sent :26-04-16
App received :27-04-16
UCI received:14-04-16

My question is this, does it mean my app is been accepted and won't be returned by giving me UCI number and I thought it should be AOR that I'm suppose to get?

Congrats!
I thinks you received to today (AOR received May 14, 16).

Well OBVIOUSLY it's not as important as receiving those crucial emails but there is certainly no harm in having a lighthearted question. Also, to insinuate that I was saying anything at ALL about the validity of a relationship based off of wonderinng how someone met (there are near stories out there!) is unfounded and unnecessary. If you don't want to share, totally ok but don't make it into something that it doesn't need to be. Please.

Haha
I wont
And i dont mind sharing too
Please go ahead do whatever you like friends
Lets hope to have some really ROMANTIC stories too
Sorry if i sounded rude....

I think it is great that some want to share. No one else besides our fellow forum members knows what we are going through. That in the end one person will judge our marriage is beyond anything I can bear. Having been told all my life about the freedoms we enjoy this is difficult to wrap my head around. Yes I get immigration fraud! Anyway that is my rant!
We met online looking more for modern pen pals as neither ever thought you could fall in love. She is from Russia. No she is not 20 years younger, poor or desperate to leave the country just the opposite.
I love her very much but wonder if I had known what falling in love with her would lead to all of this I would do it again?

I met my husband on a discussion forum about psychology. Whenever people hear that I met him online they assume I met him on a dating site or something, but no. We were friends first and were always kind of close before we started a relationship.

Looks like I won't be getting SA til at least next week. I doubt we'll hear anything on a Sunday. 38 days... I'm very impatient now :P.
